Student Assignment Completion Report
Purpose: Generate multiple student views of the Student Detail of the Assignment Completion Report - Drill-Through.
Scoring student who is not yet due: For reports where the due date of a course falls after the report date, the student may be not yet due for some course(s) while complete for other course(s). You have the option of scoring them as Not Yet Due for those courses, or you can group those course scores with completed on time or delinquent; or you specify that they are not scored -- not included with the report scores at all.

  • Not Yet Due = Not Yet Due (default): Courses are itemized and their percentages are shown as a separate line item in the scores header. This keeps the overall Completion score based on Completed On-Time and Completed Late only.
  • Not Yet Due = Complete: Courses are added to the number of courses that are complete, skewing the Completed score higher.
  • Not Yet Due = Delinquent: Courses are added to the number of courses that are permanently delinquent, skewing the Delinquent score higher.
  • Not Yet Due = Not Assigned: Courses are not factored into any scores and are subtracted from the number of courses (the denominator) used for other scores.

Delinquency - Schedulable Report
Purpose: Find students who are delinquent or past due for an assigned course (or courses). The administrator selects the courses, students, and due date range. Students who are found with a due date within the date range but with no corresponding completion will be displayed on the report with their due date. If a course completion has been recorded subsequent to the due date, the completion date will be provided as information for the reader.
This report is tied to assignments; therefore, an assignment is required to create a context for the report. (Learning Events are not included in this report as they are not assigned.)
This report offers three sorting options. Because reports open in a new window, you can easily return to the report user interface, change the Sort By option, and regenerate the report using the same settings.

  1. Department, Student, Course: Data is sorted first by department, then students in each department and each course per student (based on report criteria).
  2. Department, Course, Student: Data is sorted first by department, then courses (based on report criteria) assigned to students in each department, and then each student assigned the course.
  3. Course, Department, Student: Data is sorted first by courses (based on report criteria), then departments where the course was assigned, then students in the department assigned the course.
    Important Options:
    • Due Date Range: The report will look for instances of the selected courses with due dates in this range. This range is inclusive of the "from" date and the "through" date.
    • Due Date Range: The report will look for instances of the selected courses with due dates within this range. This range is inclusive of the "from" date and the "through" date.
    • Assignment Criteria option: In addition to searching for individual courses, you can select a single assignment's courses and students. The course(s) and student group(s) appearing in an assignment will populate the courses and students section of your report criteria. You will still need to specify the Due Date Range. The assignment's due date is not automatically inserted in the report criteria.

• Format Options: The report can include page breaks (default) for easier viewing and printing from your browser, or it can exclude page breaks, which results in the report being exported directly in Excel (.xls) format.

Group Transcript Report
Purpose: Allows multiple students' transcripts to be generated at once, including inactive students.

Assignment Completion Report - Schedulable
Purpose: Track students' progress toward the completion of courses that have been assigned to them. The administrator may select specific courses and students to report on through the search feature, or an assignment may be selected that will return the courses and student group(s) associated with that assignment. The report will show the status of each student as being not yet due, completed on time, completed late, past due, delinquent or exempt. This report is tied to assignments; therefore, an assignment is required to create a context for the report.
NOTE: If more than 15 courses or more than 15 students are selected, or if Student Groups are used instead of Student Search, the report will be generated asynchronously (dispatched, instead of real-time). You will be notified via email when the report is generated with a link to the report. The report is available on the HLC servers for 14 days.
NOTE: This report is both schedulable and designed for improved compatibility with Microsoft Excel and compatible applications. Excel has a maximum limit of 65,000 rows.
This report offers three sorting options. Because reports open in a new window, you can easily return to the report user interface, change the sorting option, and re-generate the report using the same settings.

Course Completion Report - Schedulable
Purpose: Determine which students in the selected criteria have either a) completed any of the courses selected, or b) show all students regardless of completion status. This includes any assigned, enrolled, or elective instances of the courses selected.
Since this report is not directly associated with assignments (as the Assignment Completion reports are), there is no reference to "completed on time", "completed late" or "delinquent." It can be used by institutions who choose not to use assignments or it can be advantageous to look at a department or student group to see at a glance who has completed a particular course(s) within a given time period. (Learning Events are not included in this report and instead appear in the Learning Events Completion report.)
